Are These Really Natural Minor Scales?

Are these really natural minor scales or have I changed a note? 😏

Minor scales are often altered in music, usually with the 'harmonic' sharp 7 or the 'melodic' ascending sharp 6 and 7... That's a lot of sharps! 🔪

Lots of modes are based on slightly altered minor scales. It's useful to hear the notes in music and identify it's scale, so this week we're trying just that! 👂💪

Hope you enjoyed this listening exercise, here are the answers to what these scales are...

1. Eb - True!
2. G - Altered (b 2)
3. Bb - True!
4. D - Altered (# 6)
5. A - Altered (# 7)
6. E - True!

Did you get those? I would love to know how you got on, whether it was easy or difficult. Let me know in the comments 👇

Thanks for watching 🙏
