Lessons are available as One-Off or Term bookings, at your address, online or in my studio. Your first lesson will be a ‘Discovery Lesson’ at a discounted rate of £15
Term bookings are 11 lessons with a 1 week break and the dates follow the local school term dates (see calendar).
One-Off lessons can be booked ad-hoc with no further commitment and simply require the invoice to be paid 48 hours in advance of the lesson time.

I’m proud to offer competitive prices for a high quality service. My prices are based on the Musicians Union living wage and are no more expensive than this.
The longer the lesson the better the discount. Term bookings result in the 11th lesson being free. There is an additional charge for me travelling to your address. A ‘double lesson’ can be split between 2 students at the same address.

Lesson Bookings:
Lessons by default take place in my studio, unless the option for ‘online’ or ‘at your address’ is selected upon booking. My address is:

Lessons and workshops can only be booked or rescheduled 48 hours prior.
Only lessons cancelled by the teacher are refundable, only cancel if you cannot reschedule.
For term bookings, up to 3 lessons per term are valid for reschedule by the student, with 48 hours notice for each lesson.
Early discontinuing of lessons during a term booking will result in a 50% fee of the remaining lesson prices.
Practicalities:
For visiting lessons the teacher will aim to arrive 5 minutes before lessons to prepare.
Once the teacher is prepared the lesson begins, if the teacher is late, the missed time will be credited to you (either extending this lesson or another).
If the student is not prepared/present, the lesson begins once they are and this time is not credited to you.
Childrens behaviour is the responsibility of the parent. The teacher is not responsbile for the behaviour of children left alone by the parent.
Pricing / Payments:
Term bookings will be paid by invoice that follow the inital booking.
The prices reflect the living wage standard set by the Musicians Union. Only lessons delivered to your home will be more expensive than this, most lessons are discounted below this rate.

Students have the option of learning in my studio, using my Korg D1 digital piano with Real Hammer Action 3 technology, which I pair with Modartt Piano Stage Teq 8 software. This is played back through a vintage Hi-Fi system for an adaptable, rich and fantasticly warm sound. There’s also plenty of room for guests to sit on the sofa and a big table for brainstorming those lesson plans!

All of my regular students benefit from unique, personalised, inclusive lesson plans and regular descriptive feedback. My digital learning diary is based on (abrsm / trinity) grades and shows students how they are progressing in various areas. The result is a lesson by lesson library of links, resources and advice, based on each individual students’ challenges, aims and interests. Students can keep these for life.
3. Freedom to Develop Musicianship
I support students to become exactly the kind of musicians they want to be. I created The 5 elements of musicianship to demonstrate the various ways all musicians learn music. Using this concept in lessons allows students to freely explore any kind of music making from the piano or keyboard. While deepening their relationship with music.

4. Flexible Lesson Options and Easy Bookings.
Simply by viewing my availability calendar and sending me a message, you can easily book last minute one-off lessons, or schedule a whole term (11 weeks) of lessons with a guaranteed weekly time-slot. Lessons are available at my studio, online, or at the students home for an added delivery fee. These may be 25, 40 or 55 minute lessons.
