Modes might be confusing on paper, but they're simple in practice. Also useful and beautiful 💐

5 fingers is the basic way of getting into modes. You only have to begin on each step of the major scale to find yourself in a mode. I🙌

The basic modes are ionian (major), dorian, phrygian, lydian, mixolydian, aeolian (minir) and locrian. There are more but this is a good place to start 💯
