Shifting V-I Chord Progression Exercise

Work your way around a key in a shifting V-I chord progression 👐💪

Take your time to work out the chords if you're not so familiar with your key. If you are very familiar, you should be able to quickly play up the key in arpeggios. Remember to keep the rhythm, articulation and dynamics sounding clean! 🧼

If this is easy for you or you're really getting into it, you should be able to come back down too! Start at the top on chord V-I, then drop the bottom 2 notes down 2 steps in the scale, while the top note moves down 1. Then the bottom 2 notes up by 1 step for the next chord and repeat... it's simpler than it looks in writing! 🙈

Hope you enjoyed this playing exercise. If you liked this exercise or need a little more assistance, do let me know in the comments! 📣
