Participatory Late Night Music Events

With a focus on community and connection, as a collective Community Loops provided some more typical music events. We’re all familiar with the process of experiencing music on a night out. You go to the venue, observe the musicians and… Well that’s it really. But what if we invite the audience to become part of the music? In these music events, not only did we have an awesome line up of musicians. We also set up our electronic music equipment and invited audience members to participate. Jack Cleary provided sound engineering and would change the sound source from audience to performers seamslessly. Meaning one moment the audience are creating the music, next they’re observing musicians and so on. These events were led by Charlie Kew with support from Rosie Robinson. We featured artists such as Golden and the Pony Boy, BYFYN, A House in the Trees and other independent artists.
