Rough Records - Impromptu Recordings of Street Musicians

This project was initiated and led by Jack Cleary, with support from Charlie Kew and Rosie Robinson providing funding, filming and editing respectively. Essentially we wanted to explore the question; How is the music made in public unique to the space and people there? We wanted to not only capture but pay homage, tribute and support to those who bring our public spaces to life with music. Especially in a culture where often this service is hounded and demonised by public councils. Nonetheless, our project was to bring light to the uniqueness, spontenaeity and value of the places and people that are part of the street musicians practice.
